The sauna is located at Ål sports park, more precisely between Bråta and Oppsjø Næringspark. It is possible to park at Bråta (address: Ål Idrettspark 1). It is about 500m to walk from the parking lot, and in winter you have to walk on the ski slope.

NB: Please note that the sauna is not hot upon arrival. Heating time is approx. 30 min. Heating is included in the booking time.

To access the sauna, you must book an appointment, after which you will be sent an access code by email and text message in advance of your booking.

There is room for about 8 people in the sauna room.

A pleasant experience in the sauna starts with good hygiene. Please be clean before you come, and always use a towel when sitting. After use, please clean up and dry the floor of water and sand. In case of excessive dirtiness, a cleaning fee of NOK 950 will be charged.

It is possible to change outside the sauna (see attachment). Do not change in the sauna. Make sure to bring swimwear, a towel and water to drink. Remember that all bathing is at your own risk.

NB: If you wish to ice bathe, this is at your own risk, and you must bring your own equipment to get on the ice.

Packing list for the sauna room

Hugs swimwear.
Bring 2 towels, one to sit on (mandatory) and one to dry yourself with.
Sandals or flip-flops.
Bag for wet swimwear.
Drinking bottle.
Jewelry and glasses get hot in the sauna. We advise you to take them off.

Sauna stove regulations

Please be clean before entering the sauna.
Sit on a towel in the bathroom.
All swimming and use of the sauna is at your own risk. Do not swim alone/unseen.
Please note that there may be slippery floors both indoors and outdoors.
Be considerate of others, keep the noise level down in the sauna room.
Ask before you pour water on the stove.
Do not use scented oils or body scrubs in the sauna room.
Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian.
If you feel uncomfortable, dizzy or sleepy – leave the sauna room immediately.
Smoking is prohibited. No food or snuff in the sauna room.
It is not allowed to consume alcohol in the swimming area and in the sauna room.
