COASTAL CABIN
Cozy uninsulated cabin with a relatively simple standard. The cabin has four benches. These can be folded out to a width of 120 cm so that you can sleep on them. Otherwise, there are two fixed hammock places, and in addition a small loft that can be used to sleep in. There are no duvets in the cabin, so sleeping bags, sheets and pillowcases must be brought with you.
The cabin has a kitchenette with a wood stove, pots and pans, plates, glasses, cups and cutlery, as well as a gas burner with two burners.
HEATING
Wood stove for heating.
TOILET
The cabin has a toilet with entrance from the outside. This is public and can also be used by others who use the area.
WATER
There is no water in the cabin, so it is recommended to bring your own drinking water.
LOCATION & ACCESS
Tarmevika is nestled in a small cove on the east side of Andabeløy in Flekkefjord municipality. People have previously lived here, but the houses were in due course moved to the other buildings on the island. It is now a state-protected outdoor area. The easiest way to get here is by boat, however Tarmevika can also be reached on foot (3.2 km from the ferry). Then you take the ferry over from Abelnes to Andabeløy. The ferry is free of charge, so you have the option of bringing your car across. Parking options on both the island and Abelnes are limited, so during holidays and high seasons it can be a bit of a challenge to find parking. On Andabeløy there are parking options down by the harbour, on the east side of the island.
