SAS Verkstedklubb and WGH Verkstedklubb's cabin on Fagerfjell

Fagerfjell is a beautiful tourist center in Flesberg municipality, Buskerud county, east of Blefjell. Here you will find, among other things, Fagerfjellstua, which is 630 meters above sea level. Fagerfjellstua accepts day visitors and has a ski lift available. From Fagerfjell you can follow marked hiking trails in both summer and winter, and Fagerfjellstua is only 700 meters from the cabin, which offers a range of activities throughout the year.

Summer activities:

• Rent a canoe to paddle on Sandsvatnet.
• Buy a fishing license and enjoy a day of fishing in the nearby waters.

Winter activities:

• Explore the ski resort and take part in après-ski in the evening.
• Enjoy kilometers of groomed ski slopes for a fantastic winter experience in the mountains.

Important information:

Before departure:

• Make sure you have bought all the necessary food and drinks.
• Wood for the fireplace can be bought at the shop in Lampeland.
• Grocery stores such as Kiwi and Rema 1000 can also be found in Lampeland.

For electric car owners:

• Make sure the car is fully charged before the ascent. Tesla Supercharger and other fast chargers can be found at Lampeland, which is 10 minutes before you drive up the mountain.

The cabin:

• See notices on the wall in the hallway for instructions on how to leave the cabin in different seasons.
• Clean and wash the cabin before departure as you would like to find it on arrival.

Tolls:

• When driving up Fagerfjellveien, it costs NOK 90 for vehicles under 7.5 tonnes.
• Pay tolls by registering the car's registration number at www.Youpark.no within 48 hours, and choose the desired payment method.
• Failure to register within 48 hours results in an administration fee of NOK 79.

Cabin rules:

• Remember to download and read the cabin rules, which contain important information for your stay.
• Remember to send an email to the cabin manager about the code for the key box at the cabin.
• If you arrive late, it might be a good idea to bring a flashlight of some size, as it is very dark up there.

The cabin consists of:

2 bedrooms, of which bedroom 1: 1 bunk bed with 120x210cm at the bottom and a 75x210cm sleeping space at the top. A total of 3 beds. Bedroom 2: 2 bunk beds with 4 berths. These are also 75×210 cm mattresses.

Booking of the cabin is done as follows:

If you want to book 1 week: 7 days (Mon-Sun), you must book the option Mon-Fri (mini week) in addition to Fri-Sun (weekend). It costs NOK 1,000 as before

If you want to book 1 (Fri-Sun) weekend, tick the box for weekend. It costs NOK 500

If you only want to book a 5-day mini week (Mon-Fri), then press this. This costs NOK 500

Refund:

Many people wonder about refunds, we refund but gibbs, which is our service provider, requires 3% in fee for the booking. We have to pay that for using the online payment solution and will then be deducted from the amount paid. That is to say:

1 week (Mon-Sun) which costs NOK 1000, we refund: NOK 970

1 weekend (Fri-Sun) which costs NOK 500, we refund: NOK 485

1 mini week 5 days (Mon-Fri) which costs NOK 500, we refund NOK 485

The booking must be made online in our booking system and paid for online in our booking system. For those who booked before we got the new booking system, we will refund the full amount provided payment is made.
