Note! It takes 1-2 hours to heat up the sauna, depending on whether it has been used earlier in the day, so it is wise to order well in advance.

Welcome to our tiny sauna down by Vangsvatnet in Voss. From inside, you can enjoy the view while you let your body get warm and good. When you feel it's time for a little cooling off, you can choose between a dip in the water or a refreshing shower outside.

How does it work?

Badstova has 8 drop-in places. If you want the sauna to yourself, you can order it privately. We allow a maximum of 10 people if you book it privately.

When you place an order, you will be sent a code that you can use to open the door. We make sure that the sauna is warm when you arrive, so that you can start the experience straight away. The bathroom has a small changing room and a shower. You can use the toilet on the first floor of the Park Hotel, use the entrance door on the right when you exit the sauna. Be friendly and make sure you are dry and dressed if you enter the hotel.

Please note that the sauna is on Park Hotel's premises and that the area around the lake is a public space. Show consideration for hotel guests, locals and tourists by keeping noise levels down and taking rubbish with you when you leave the area.

Please be friendly and read the following rules and betting conditions:

• It is not permitted to stay in the sauna without a valid booking. There will be inspectors and guests without a valid booking must pay a fine of NOK 2,000.
• Shoes or slippers are not permitted in the sauna.
• Use of the sauna is at your own risk. Wild Sauna Norway or Park Hotel cannot be held responsible for errors, shortcomings or consequences.
• If you destroy the sauna or the sauna area, you will be held financially responsible.
• Children under the age of 18 are not allowed to take saunas without an adult present.
• For hygienic reasons, please sit on a towel.
• If you feel uncomfortable, dizzy or tired, leave the sauna room.
• Remember to drink water before, during and after your time in the sauna.
• To prevent falls, be careful when walking in and around the sauna. Especially in the dark. The floor and ground may be slippery.
• New guests may come after you, so please leave the sauna in time.

Welcome to our little sauna, located right in the center of Voss, by Vangsvatnet. Our little sauna has a panoramic window, so that you can enjoy the view of the lake while getting warm and cosy. Enjoy a swim in the lake or a cold shower right outside the sauna door once you're feeling hot.

How does it work? 

Our sauna has a maximum of 8 drop in slots. If you want to make sure you have the sauna to yourself, you can book a private session. We allow a maximum of 10 people for the private session.

When making a booking, you will receive a code that you can use to open the door. We will make sure the sauna is warm when you arrive, so that you can start your experience right away. It takes 1-2 hours to fully heat so please book in advance. The sauna has a small changing room, and an outdoor shower. You are welcome to use the toilets on the first floor of Park Hotel, use the entrance to the right when walking out the sauna door. Make sure you are dry and wearing clothes if entering the hotel.

Our sauna operates under a simple and affordable self-service model. It relies on your cooperation to operate smoothly.

Please keep in mind that the sauna is located on Park Hotel property and that the waterfront is public space. Please show respect for hotel guests, locals and tourists by keeping noise to a minimum and taking trash with you when leaving. All questions regarding the sauna can be directed to us, not to Park Hotel. Please leave the sauna clean and locked when you are finished.

Please note the following rules and instructions 

• By making this booking, you are agreeing not to bring more people into the sauna than your booking is valid for. Random checks will occur, and guests without a valid booking will have to pay a NOK 2000 fine.
• No shoes or flip flops are allowed inside the sauna.
• No buckets, cloths, towels or any other items are to be placed within 1 meter of the sauna oven.
• If fire occurs, use a fire extinguisher in the changing room.
• You are responsible for locking the sauna. You are liable for any damage as a result of leaving the sauna unlocked.
• Sauna is used at your own risk. Wild Sauna Norway, Voss Kommune or Park Hotel cannot be held responsible for errors, shortcomings or consequences.
• If you damage the sauna or the sauna oven you will be held financially responsible
• Children under the age of 18 years old are not allowed in the sauna without being supervised by an adult.
• For hygienic reasons, please bring a towel to sit on.
• If you feel uncomfortable, dizzy or sleepy, leave the sauna room immediately.
• Remember to drink water before, during and after the sauna session.
• Please only use fresh clean water on the oven. Using anything other than fresh water on the oven will result in a 2000nok fine.
• Water bucket can be filled up from the outdoor shower.
• Be careful inside the sauna and the outdoor areas to prevent falling. Especially in poor visibility/darkness, and on slippery surfaces.
• There might be new guests arriving when your time is up, so please leave the sauna on time.
• Do not enter the sauna outside of your booking time.
• Toilets are available in the park hotel, you must be wearing cloths and be dry when you walk into the hotel.
• Please refrain from nudity or obscene behavior not otherwise acceptable in a public place.
• Consumption of Alcohol is Prohibited inside and outside the sauna as is being under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
• We would appreciate it if you leave the sauna clean and tidy. Also, please close both doors.
• We do not allow refunds due to a change of mind. However, we are more than happy to reschedule you to another time.
